American Heart Association and Becker’s Hospital Review honor Morgan Medical Center with nine prestigious awards and recognitions
Morgan Medical Center has been recognized with six American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines® awards and three national distinctions from Becker’s Hospital Review for 2026.
The six American Heart Association Get With The Guidelines® awards include:
- Rural Stroke – Gold Award
- Rural Coronary Artery Disease NSTE-ACS – Silver Award
- Coronary Artery Disease Chest Pain – Bronze Plus Award
- Coronary Artery Disease NSTEMI – Bronze Award
- Rural Coronary Artery Disease STEMI – Bronze Award
- Coronary Artery Disease STEMI Referring Center – Bronze Award
The American Heart Association, the world’s leading nonprofit organization focused on heart and brain health for all, recognizes the important role rural hospitals play in providing timely, evidence-based care. The Get With The Guidelines® awards evaluate facilities using rigorous methodologies to measure clinical quality and patient outcomes.
In addition, Becker’s Hospital Review has recognized Morgan Medical Center on three of its highly selective nationwide lists, naming it one of the Cleanest Hospitals in the nation, one of the Top Hospitals for Physician Communication, and one of the Hospitals Patients Would Highly Recommend.
Becker’s Hospital Review, a leading hospital trade publication, compiles its annual lists based on Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). To appear on these lists, a hospital must receive a five-star rating in each category. Morgan Medical Center is one of the 765 facilities nationwide–and one of just 20 in Georgia–featured on the Hospitals Patients Would Highly Recommend list, alongside 396 facilities on the Cleanest Hospitals list and 208 on the Top Hospitals for Physician Communication list.
