Medical emergencies are unpredictable and frightening. However, our highly trained physicians and staff are prepared to assist you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Morgan Medical Center is one of the hospitals in Georgia certified as a Level IV Trauma Center. We evaluate and treat patients of all ages and are equipped to handle everything from minor stitches to trauma injuries and cardiac emergencies. There may be times when the severity of an injury requires that a patient be transferred to a larger medical facility. In such cases, we are prepared to transfer patients via helicopter or ambulance.

Being part of the Georgia trauma system gives our staff members access to a wide range of specialty trauma classes and holds our EMS, nursing staff and physicians to a higher standard in order to maintain our designation. This translates into better care for the trauma patient. Recent statistics show that a patient’s chance of survival is increased twofold when taken to a trauma center.
