Cardiopulmonary Services
Breathing and sleeping are second nature. But for those who suffer from heart, lung or sleeping problems, these natural functions can be difficult. Our cardiopulmonary department offers inpatient and outpatient testing to identify the cause and treatment options, including electroencephalography (EEG), remote heart monitoring (ECG) with Holter monitors and basic spirometry testing.
Sleep studies (polysomnograms) are performed at MMC in partnership with Avilys which prides itself on providing prompt, accurate results to patients.
All sleep studies are performed in a “home-like” atmosphere and involve a thorough, yet painless, examination of a patient’s sleep patterns. We are able to treat both adults and children, ages one year and older.
