Wide Variety of Quality Testing Available 24/7

In the Morgan Medical Center laboratory, licensed personnel operate sophisticated, clinical laboratory equipment to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of their patients. A wide variety of quality testing is available to both inpatients and outpatients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Most lab procedures, including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology, blood bank and industrial drug screenings, are performed on-site allowing for rapid turnaround of results.

Our laboratory is accredited by the Georgia Department of Human Resources, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and The Joint Commission. These groups establish quality standards to ensure the accuracy, reliability and timeliness of patient test results. An accredited pathologist serves as the medical director.
