Dr. Jacob Werkin is a board-certified General Surgeon with a passion for connecting with patients and supporting their long-term health and wellness. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. He went on to complete his general surgery residency at Mount Carmel Health in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Werkin is highly skilled in both open and minimally invasive surgical techniques, providing personalized care tailored to each patient’s needs.
He joined Morgan Medical Center in 2023 and sees patients in the Outpatient Clinics at Morgan Medical Center, offering convenient access to expert surgical and wound care.
