Certified Nursing Assistant Class Application

Looking to start or advance your career in health care? Apply now for Morgan Medical Center’s Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program! Applications are due Monday, November 15.
Why Become a CNA:
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) help patients with activities of daily living and other health care needs under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). If you have a passion for helping others, are considering a career in health care or are looking to grow your skills, becoming a CNA may be the perfect role for you!
Class Schedule:
Classes will be held at Morgan Medical Center Tuesdays through Thursdays from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. for 12 weeks.
- Tuesday, January 4: Class begins
- February 22-24: Break
- March 15-17: Class will be held at Madison Health and Rehabilitation Center (across from the old hospital) from 6:45 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. to meet our (24) State Mandatory Nursing Home hours.
- April 5-7: Break
- November 12-14 and 19-21: Review days for Certification Exam
- Saturday, April 23 (tentative): Certification Exam
How to Apply:
To apply, complete the online application form. Applications must be submitted by Monday, November 15, 2021. Interviews will be set up after receipt of applications. Participants must be a high school graduate or have completed their GED to apply, with a few exceptions. Class size is limited to 6 participants, so application does not guarantee acceptance.
Program Cost:
The cost of the class is $500.00. Students will be responsible for the cost of a few additional required items including, but not limited to, certification exam fee, scrubs, and class textbook.
