Why Become a CNA:
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) help patients with activities of daily living and other healthcare needs under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). If you have a passion for helping others, are considering a career in health care, or are looking to grow your skills, becoming a CNA may be the perfect role for you!
The class will meet Tuesday through Thursday at Morgan Medical Center (1740 Lions Club Road, Madison, GA) from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM for 12 weeks, followed by two weeks of review for the Certification Exams.
- January 9: Class begins
- February 19-23: Winter Break
- March 26-28: Class will be held at Madison Health and Rehabilitation Center (across from the old hospital) from 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM to meet the (24) State Mandatory Nursing home hours
- April 8-12: Spring Break
- April 16-18 and April 23-25: Review days for Certification Exam
- May 4 (Tentative): Certification Exam at Morgan County High School (1231 College Drive, Madison, GA)
How to Apply:
To apply, complete the online application form. Applications must be submitted by Friday, November 10, 2023. Interviews will be set up after receipt of applications. Participants must be a high school graduate or have completed their GED to apply. Class size is limited to 6 participants, so application does not guarantee acceptance.
The cost of the class is $500.00. Students will be responsible for the cost of a few additional required items including, but not limited to, Certification Exam fee, scrubs, and class textbook.
